Nick is the Compassionate Communities Campaign manager for Farm Sanctuary. He is also the author of “Change of Heart: What Psychology Can Teach Us About Spreading Social Change” which VegNews named as one of its top ten books of 2011. Nick is also the founder of The Humane League, an advocacy organization that works to protect other animals through public education, campaigns and rescue. Audio podcast, about 45 mins.
Nick has written for publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer and Z Magazine, and his advocacy work has been featured in hundreds of media outlets including Time magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and National Public Radio.
Nick holds a degree in Non-Violence Studies from Hofstra University and formerly worked conducting nutrition education programs with the University of Pennsylvania's Urban Nutrition Initiative.
