ARZone Podcast 78: Rob Garner - Animal Rights as Justice

Episode 78 features professor of political theory, Robert Garner.

Rob Garner is professor of political theory at the University of Leicester in the UK who has, for more than two decades, specialised in animal rights.

Audio podcast, approx. 54 mins.

.

Rob Garner obtained his BA from the University of Salford and his MA and PhD from the University of Manchester. A professor at the University of Leicester, the focus of his principal research interest has been on the political representation of nonhuman interests. ARZone Podcast 43: Alliance Politics

In this episode, the ARZone admins discuss the subject of Alliance Politics.

In recent ARZone podcasts and online interviews, various members of the global social justice movement for other animals have spoken about whether those of us in the movement need to align ourselves with those in other social movements.

The question is, would our working with other movements help those movements, at the expense of our efforts on behalf of other animals,or would we be able to accomplish more - for other humans, as well as other animals, by allying ourselves with other advocates and causes?
