Episode 17 features the director of Free from Harm, Robert Grillo.

Robert Grillo is an activist, author and speaker. He is the director of Free from Harm, which he founded in 2009 to expose the effects of animal agriculture on other animals, vulnerable human communities and the environment. With a background in marketing communications, Robert is particularly interested in how popular culture creates the narratives that influence much of our behavior. His book, Farm to Fable: The Fictions of Our Animal-Consuming Culture (Vegan Publishers 2016), was written to explore that theme. Audio podcast, 15 minutes.

Ed, who received his degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, is a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist. He co-founded and currently serves as campaign director for the Philadelphia based nonprofit, Peace Advocacy Network. PAN is an organisation which works on a number of issues, including animal rights and LGBTQ equality.

Ed has written for several digital and print publications, including the Huffington Post, and also maintains his popular blog called Eating Consciously. By day, Ed serves as chief marketing officer for an organic beverage company he co-founded.

Bob Linden, is the host of GO VEGAN Radio, a one hour talk radio programme accessible via download, live-stream and free podcast as well as weekly on US broadcast radio in California. 

In this ARZone Podcast, Bob talks about his radio show, the events, promotions, organizations and other forms of vegan outreach he conducts, the problems he sees in some animal advocacy conferences, and what he sees as the failure of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) in regard to the recent proposed compromise with the United Egg Producers (UEP). Bob is a successful events organiser and promoter of social justice causes. He played a major role in developing and promoting Vegan Earth Day Events, San Diego Fall-Fest and Worldfest-LA, which he also emceed. Bob has been a vegan for almost 30 years. A New York City native and graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York, Bob spoke with us from the world's largest vegan grocery store, VIVA LA VEGAN..
