ARZone Podcast 37: Having Heart and Taking Action with Ruby Roth.

This time, the ARZone team are joined by artist, designer, writer, and blogger, Ruby Roth. Vegan since 2003, Ruby is the author of two children’s books about human relations with other animals, “That’s Why We Don’t Eat Animals,” published in 2009, and her new book, “Vegan is Love: Having Heart and Taking Action.”

In this podcast, we discuss with Ruby the links between health veganism and ethical veganism, the socialisation of children, social movements and the internet, feminism and animal rights, vegetarianism and veganism, and much more.

Of course, even though Ronnie Lee could not make it this time, we made sure we remembered to ask "The Ronnie Question"!

Great guest! With regards to China, you might enjoy our recent interview with Safar http://wildtimeonline.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/chinese-animal-rights-activism.html who are fighting for their animals in China from within China

Listened to the excellent programme, Thomas, and I think it is a very important show. We need to tackle the racism in the animal advocacy movement, often, as you say, directed at China and the Chinese.

People on FB are suggesting we should "boycott" China (whatever that means) but it seems to me that we in "the west" need to help and develop the emerging animal movement in China.

I am curious to find out what blog system you are utilizing? I'm having some small security problems with my latest site and I'd like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?jogos friv gratis 2019

It’s not only modern men in power positions who are clueless about women. If Ben Franklin were alive today, I’d love to whack him upside the head with my Susan B. Anthony T-shirt. Okay, I’ll give him credit for the lightening rod, bifocals, the Franklin stove, and for helping lay the groundwork for the Declaration of Independence. But by all accounts, the guy was a serious womanizer.

Thank goodness! While he can be wary of strangers (his previous owner was not nice to him), Finn is my shadow--never more than ten feet away...unless he's sleeping. He loves to play fetch and patrol his yard for squirrels, birds, and lawn mowers. The more mud (as evidenced in the picture), the better! He is a short boy, so his long-legged sister usually out runs him, but his energy is endless when he has the right motivation--catching Libby.
